The murder case I have selected for this discussion is the one that happened on June 4 2008, where a sales man in the name of Travis Alexander born in 77 was murdered in cold blood by his ex girlfriend Jodi Ann Arias in his home in Mesa Arizona . Jodi was then convicted of the first degree murder in 2013 but then convicted to natural life sentencing in state prison in 2015 for the murder of Travis Alexander. The relationship between the offender and the victim is of boyfriend and girlfriend. Jodi murdered Travis because he was going on a trip with another woman and not her . She stabbed him 29 times and put a bullet in his head that made him to die. The relationship between the two influenced this murder because one party didn’t want to let go she was stalking him for leaving her for someone else. She didn’t kill him in self defense as she claimed in her previous testimony because she planned this murder rented a car and drove all the way to Alexander’s home where she killed him. Before the murder at Jodi’s grandparents home there was a gun missing which was the same gun wounds found on Alexander the deceased. she killed him out of jealousy because she couldn’t see him with someone else ,she was obsessed with him
